なので今朝あわててDMV(日本で言う陸運局)に再登録しに行った。

You're right. In this country, you never NEVER admit you're wrong. From the politicians to the housewives to CIA to all the way up to the President, you never never admit you made mistakes. Be ready to blame it on the other side, otherwise, they'll put a blame on you. Always be ready to blame it on your neighbors, your government, your insurance company, your superior or your subordinates. Never admit your fault just like they don't. Don't get sued but sue them. If your neighbor's kid is stupid or has an attitude, their school teacher will blame it on YOU, "the neighbor" instead of blaming it on their mother or blaming it on themselves. So, if your dog poosp on your neighbors lawn, that's THEIR fault for having the lawn there.

Hi Lisa,Thank you for the comment. Yes, It's definitely needs claim and blame in this country. I'll try to be 「俺様っ!」from now on.
But, I'll still take a bag with my dogs.

ha ha.....yes, I was just kidding about the poop part too. I take poop bags with me too for my dogs, mainly because I don't want my dogs to get a bad repution.

Actually, the government and the corporations would admit to wrong doings of small offenses too if know they're about to be discovered of much larger offenses. A corporation, for example, would admit to losing a computer database "by mistake" and apologyze rather than admitting they intentionally compromised employee data by miusing them, or the government would admit to CIA's waterboarding or some minor offense instead of admitting to killing the prisoners etc. You know people admit to small offenses and try to get away by paying small fines when they know they are hiding much larger problems. This is the best of American politics. he he.
